Moutai is made of sorghum, wheat, water combined with an extraordinary technology, one year production cycle through a high temperature fermentation, high temperature distilled and 5 years ageing which refined out the national spirit of China.
In 1914, Moutai made its first major impact overseas by winning a gold medal at the Panama-Pacific International Exhibition in San Francisco.
Moutai is regarded as one of the top three distilled spirits in the world along with Scotland Whisky and Cognac Brandy.
